Pom Pom Hat

 

 

This is my latest variation on the shell stitch hat.

The body of the hat is worked in Sirdar Baby Bamboo DK, on a 4mm hook, and the pom pom was made using a 9cm Prym template (from a handy set of four sizes) and Debbie Bliss Angel yarn, which is a deliciously fluffy mohair-silk mix. I tied the pom pom with Gutermann sew-all thread held double, to make it easier to sew it on to the hat.
