Yarndale 2014: what a day!

IMAG1544 I just returned from a wonderful woolly day at Yarndale in Skipton. Here are just a few glimpses of the day, from yarnbombing in the park to the Starflower mandalas that were suspended from the ceiling in the Knit and Natter lounge.

I’d like to thank the team who made this possible. They’ve worked so hard and have made a lot of people very happy!

  1. Oh wow. Thank you for posting these wonderful photos. I’d love to go to Yarndale (but from Oxfordshire it’s a trek that I haven’t got round to making just yet). So it’s lovely to see the event through other people’s eyes. I hope it was as much fun as it looks.

    • It was a lot of fun, thanks! I’m fortunate that it’s not far from home, so I was able to help with some of the preparations during the week. I hope you’re able to get to something woolly nearer to you.

  2. Thank your for posting these photos! I’ve been searching Twitter all day looking at pictures of Yarndale, which brought me to your blog. I was particularly interested in seeing how all of the mandalas were displayed (yes one of them is mine). I live in the States so was not able to go, but was able to be there vicariously through everyone’s photos. Looks like so much fun!!
